Video Game Song of the Day – Far Away (Red Dead Redemption)

Marshall: While I’ve shelved my Hall of Fame Review for Red Dead Redemption for a little while (due to the apparent loss of my saved files on the main campaign), the game has lost none of its resonance with me after an extensive playthrough. Of its many incredible strengths (which I will go into full detail of when the review is finally done later this year), one of the biggest is its soundtrack, chiefly the moments that recall the Ennio Morricone scores of classic spaghetti Westerns. But my choice for Song of the Day is a mellower track, from acclaimed indie musician Jose Gonzalez. Enjoy!
