Jake Rushing – Bust a Move (SNES)

I have a long week ahead of me, which won’t leave me much time for video games.

All I have to spare is a quick session in the morning before work and after work, so I’ll play the game that i got from a flea market this past weekend, Bust A Move ported for the SNES.

I love it that with a lot of rounds to offer and with password save, I’ll be playing that for this week.

Terry Randolph – Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (Xbox One), Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate (Xbox One), Witcher 3 (Xbox One), Final Fantasy Type-0 HD (Playstation 4)

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is the sequel I never vocally asked for, but wanted. It’s hitting all the right notes in terms of places to explore, upgrades, branching storyline paths, etc. While there are some things I wish I would have noticed (like killing 2 people in game when I’m going for a pacifist playthrough…) the truth is this is an RPG that will keep me glued for easily 40-60 hours overall. I’m 19.5 hours in (not including all the reloads), about 35% done with the game due to sidequests and collector’s items, and I’m totally ok with that. Even better, though I bought the collector’s edition of the game — my enjoyment of the game has made the cost actually feel worth it. This is easily becoming one of my games of the year.

That said, I’m not sure what game I want to continue after I finish Mankind Divided. Do I go with Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate? Final Fantasy Type-0 HD? Or maybe Witcher 3? Worst comes to worse, I’ll finish Just Cause 3.

Ben Fitzgerald – Mass Effect 3 (360)

Mass Effect is about the only thing I’m playing right now. I would like to play some other games too, but I’m just fed up with my laptop. I’m going to be dropping about $250 for a cheap, decent desktop to last me until I build a good gaming computer again.

I bought the first couple of DLCs for ME3 over the last week and I played one of them last night. Pretty cool. I’m trying to take it easy on Mass Effect though, cause it’s too easy to get sucked into the game for me and do nothing else.
