Ben Fitzgerald – Deponia II: Chaos on Deponia (PC)

There’s not been a whole lot going on the last couple of weeks for me as far as gaming. I just moved last week, and I had a very busy weekend, so I didn’t even play a game last week. I wanted to, but I haven’t been able to access a good internet connection to download the game I want.

Anyway, I finished the first game in Daedalic’s Deponia trilogy a couple weeks ago, and although I have some mixed feelings about the gameplay and the characters, I did enjoy the story. I finally got Deponia II downloaded, and so far I’m really enjoying the story, although I only just started it. I was hoping I’d have a chance to play it today, but I elected to take my dog to the lake instead. Maybe I’ll get to it on Friday.

Jake Rushing – Muramasa The Demon Blade (Wii), Wario Ware Smooth Moves (Wii)

Wow, I have been playing Muramasa for weeks and I am still invested in that game. As it turns out, there are more endings than I once thought. The good news is that though, I’m close to meeting the requirement to view the final endings of this game.

Once I’m done with that, I’ll switch gears and play Wario Ware: Smooth Moves for the Wii. I’ll be looking forward to playing that and make myself move to the groove!

Marshall Garvey – Aliens: Colonial Marines (Xbox 360), Resident Evil 4 (Wii), TellTale Walking Dead: Season One (PC)

Gaming has slowed down again recently due to a busy work schedule and many other life goals I need to secure. (One of which, getting my own car, I fortunately just completed!) Colonial Marines remains my godforsaken focus as I try to finish the review, which should hopefully be by the end of the month as things smoothen out schedule-wise for me. On the upside, the game is blessedly short, and reviewing it at this point in time is admittedly perfect timing. Not only does this summer mark the official 30th anniversary of Aliens, but filming for the upcoming Alien: Covenant just completed. Here’s hoping it’s far, far better than this game.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Michael, Kazuo and I have resumed our Let’s Play of Resident Evil 4 for the Wii. I’ve only jumped in to play on occasion, but having played the PS2 version for years, I’ve enjoyed the Wii controls more than I thought I would. Michael remains the primary player for our videos as it’s an entirely new experience for him, but I hope to play at least a couple more key parts with the extra challenge of unfamiliar controls.

For fun, I’ve jumped back into the first season of TellTale Walking Dead. I know I’m way behind in finishing it, especially after my save files from my first playthrough were inexplicably erased, but it’s a pick you can never go wrong with. Moreover, I’m hooked on Robert Kirkman’s original comics as of late, so playing the game feels even more fulfilling.
