Marshall Garvey: Hellllllooooo nostalgia! My week belongs to a title I hardly consider a video game, and more like a part of myself: Banjo-Kazooie. I’d estimate upwards of 40% of my life in the late 90’s belonged solely to this game, thanks to its incredible detail, endearing characters, and the boundless feeling of adventure that just drips from each level. As you may have guessed, I’ve started a fresh playthrough for its Hall of Fame Review here at LTG, and will immediately follow that by inducting Banjo-Tooie into the Hall as well. And after that, I plan to snag Grim Fandango on eBay sometime next week. Shit, is it 1998 all of a sudden? If so, hell, crank up some Hootie and the Blowfish and Semisonic! Oh, and I’m placing a hefty bet on Saving Private Ryan winning Best Picture. How could it not win?

Terry Randolph: I had to take a break from Kingdom Hearts after the Hall of Fame review. So I’ve been playing TellTale’s Walking Dead Season 1 and 2, Game of Thrones and Dying Light. This week I’ll be getting back into the Kingdom Hearts grind and continue my zombie filled quests in Dying Light. Also might be getting Evolve too. It’s gonna be a busy week for sure.

Jake Rushing: After my Hall of Fame Review for Pokemon Red/Blue, I’m shifting my focus into moving into a new place. But when I need to wind down, I’ll be playing a little bit of Metroid Prime from Metroid Prime Trilogy after picking it up at the Wii U eShop. I will be going back and forth between that and Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon.

Sean Willis: I’ve been checking out this wonderful Super Mario 64 DS hack called Another Super Mario 64 DS and I have to say I really love the new level designs. I’m still working on completing it but it’s been fun so far. Other than that I plan to work on some Nintendo DS games I never finished like Rune Factory 4 and maybe remake my mini game projects from Wario: DIY, I almost finished a racing game boss game which had the player race against time to finish three laps. Don’t think I’ll finish it but maybe I could remake it for fun in another game engine for PC.
