Watch Dogs No DLC

In yet another case of bad news on Nintendo’s third party front, Watch Dogs’ recently released story expansion DLC “Bad Blood” won’t be making it to Wii U systems according to a tweet by Ubisoft. Taken at face value it’s not entirely clear if this refers to the DLC not being available on disc or for download at launch since the game won’t arrive on North American systems until November 18, or if it’s an indication that the DLC will simply never arrive to the console as well. Judging from past Ubisoft games like Assassin’s Creed IV it’s most likely the latter as that game’s DLC was also left out to dry. It’s unknown as to the exact reason why Ubisoft is not supporting DLC for Watch Dogs or other games in the past for that matter, and the decision only adds on to the slowly growing list of games from various third party developers such as Batman: Arkham Origins and the Call of Duty series (where the latter’s forums are filled with community members wondering) in which DLC arrived on other platforms but not the Wii U version.

Currently “Bad Blood” is available on PC, PS3, PS4, and Xbox One with Ubisoft currently working on releasing the Xbox 360 version of the content as soon as they can.
